The Ancient Temple is a dungeon in Arcania City that becomes accessible after the player finishes the story in The Arctic, returns to Cybergate City and talks to Zaydolf.
The dungeon is composed of three areas: Temple of Sea, Temple of Land and Sky Pillar. It is is necessary to complete this dungeon in order to advance in the story and go to The Moon. The player must defeat Kyogre in the Temple of Sea and Groudon in the Temple of Land before they gain access to Sky Pillar.
The boss of this Temple is Kyogre. It's level 90, holding a Blue Orb, and its moves are Origin Pulse, Thunder, Ice Beam and Hurricane. After beating it, the player will be allowed to catch Kyogre (Which is at Level 50).
The boss of this Temple is Groudon. It's level 90, holding a Red Orb, and its moves are Precipice Blades, Solar Crash, Heat Crash, and Stealth Rock. After beating it, the player will be allowed to catch Groudon (Which is at Level 50). Beta Groudon can be caught (also at Level 50) here after entering the Burned Tower from the Isle of Beasts.
Sky Pillar[]
Walkthrough:
On the first floor you need to walk in a straight line towards the rocks.
The image on the right shows how to navigate the second floor.
On the third floor you must either go towards the light colored rock or the dark colored rock. Which rock you must go towards alternates.
The fourth and final floor contains Rayquaza. Just like Groudon and Kyogre, the player has to defeat it before it can be caught. It's level 90, holding an Apex Orb, and has the following moves: Dragon Ascent, Outrage, Cyclone and Draco Meteor. After defeating it, the player will be able to catch Rayquaza (which is at level 60).
