Cybergate City is located to the north of Romero City, connected by Route 8, Route 9 and the Seaside Cavern. When the player first has access to it, there is nothing much to do but as the player progresses there is more to do. At some point after the seventh gym, the player will have access to Cyberspace. After defeating the Elite Four, the player will have access to The Arctic by boat. After defeating the story in The Arctic, the player will have access to The Moon and later, to Space.
