Factory is a Tech-type status move that starts the field effect Factory for 5 turns (10 with the Mechanic Rock).
During Factory, the following effects are in play[]
- Tech-type moves do x1.5 damage
- Tech and Steel type pokemon are healed at the end of each turn
Moves affected by Factory[]
- Calculator: Addition now also increases SpDef, Subtract now also decreases SpAtk, Divide now brings the target to 1/3rd of their health and Multiply hits a maximum of four times instead of 3.
- Cooldown Mode: Also boosts Defense 1 stage.
- Energy Shield: Defense is boosted an additional stage.
- Gear Up: Also boosts Speed.
- Mega Missile: Also raises Accuracy during the first turn.
- Optic Camo: Also boosts Speed 1 stage.
- Tech Savvy: SpDef is boosted an additional stage.
Modes[]
The boosts to the modes still apply if they were used before Factory came into effect.
- Booster Mode: Speed becomes x2.5 instead of x1.5
- Scanner Mode: Accuracy becomes x1.6 instead of x1.3
- Shield Mode: Incoming damage is multiplied by x0.5 instead of x0.8
- Hyper Mode: Attacks deal x1.75 damage instead of x1.5
- Random Mode: Also boosts a random stat when using the move.
