The Mist Stone is a rare held item that allows certain Pokemon to evolve if they level up while holding it. Only two are obtainable in the game. It allows certain Pokemon to permanently Mega Evolve. Pokemon who evolve with the Mist Stone do not receive a boost from Eviolite.
To get started, you can find the first one by beating the "gym leader" located in Abandone Town. You're on your own to find the other one, however.
