Saladman's well-rounded stats and access to Quiver Dance allow it to be underratedly scary if given proper setup opportunity. Leaf Storm allows for a nuke button that can potentially be used multiple times thanks to Quiver Dance. Coverage from Earth Power, Thunderbolt, and Veggie Beam allow Saladman to bait in and answer for many of its weaknesses, including Fire, Flying, Chaos, and Poison types.
Life Orb makes sense to boost Saladman's power even further, but natural bulk of 95/95/105 and Quiver Dance SpDef boosts can allow Leftovers to be viable for passive recovery. Items like Lum Berry could also be helpful to stave off one-time status afflictions to remove poison that could threaten to put Saladman on a timer, or paralysis that could cripple its sweeping ability.
While Chlorophyll offers a way to increase Saladman's speed to a blistering pace in the sun, access to Quiver Dance will increase its speed during its normal setup. Leaf Guard can prevent status on a sun team, which could increase Saladman's staying power and allow setup opportunities in the face of status setters. Regenerator can also be used as a more catch-all ability to restore damage from Life Orb usage and keep Saladman around for longer if forced to switch.
