Location

Location of Seaside Village in Wack.

Seaside Village is a town in the Wack region. It is connected to Route 2 in the south, and to the north, a passage leads to Gourmet City. In the north-east is an entrance to the Dewdrop Cavern.

There is a man in the Pokemon Center who will trade either an Arctic Magikarp or Abyss Magikarp for your Magikarp.

This is one of three places that you can obtain Stando items, the others being Side Town and The Slums. [has this changed in the new update?]

Before you get Surf, there is very little in Seaside Village. However after you get Surf, you can access a number of sea areas, such as the Undersea Ruins, Iron Works, and S.S Battle.

There are also two men with boats. The one nearest to the Pokemon Center will take you to Alola, while the other will take you to Misty Beach.

Electreno can be caught in the ocean off of here. Gaghocean is an invisible chaser in the ocean off of here after completing the storyline in the Arctic.

Special[]

  • Phione: Egg from man beside the Connect to Seaside Gourmet
  • Fisherman Lv. 34 (Only One; on the east shoreline of the village after beating gym 4)
  • Sayaka (Only One; tree at the third flower from the left behind the Pokemon Center)

Fate Pokemon[]

If the player is carrying a Big Nugget and interacts with a specific part of Seaside Village's bushes, the Big Nugget will react and the player will have the chance to get a Random Fate Pokemon from one of the seven classes. After that, the player cannot choose which class they get and each new Fate Pokemon gained will come at the cost of a Big Nugget.

If the player chooses to not summon a Fate Pokemon, a plant will appear near the interactive tile. Interacting with the plant bring only two options, Yes or No. Choosing Yes will make the player face a boss rush of trainers, which awards the player with a Nugget and a Big Nugget.

It should be noted that once started the fights do not end until the last one. Losing at any point of the boss rush will send the player to a Pokemon Center as normal, but the player will INSTANTLY fight the next opponent. The player's team is healed at the end of each fight except after the final one.

Smash Character[]

If the player interacts with a hidden tile within the tree one left of the flowers behind the Pokemon Center, the player will have the chance to get a Random Smash Pokemon (e.g. Sonic). It can be redone with a Big Nugget.

MM! Character[]

If the player interacts with a hidden tile within the tree in the flowers behind the Pokemon Center, the player will have the chance to get a Random MM! Pokemon. It can be redone with a Big Nugget.
