It is not satisfied unless it is rampaging at all times. If there is no opponent for Tauros to battle, it will charge at thick trees and knock them down to calm itself.
Bullseye as Tauros' main STAB allows for instant critical hits, bypassing any defensive setup from the opposing mon. Close Combat and Earthquake offer reliable coverage, where Close Combat provides a slightly higher power boost while adding a drawback of lowered defenses. However, Tauros' middling Special Defense stat and HP don't provide a whole lot of bulk, so the defense drop isn't the worst drawback. Zen Headbutt also offers an option against fighting types and a flinch chance at the risk of slightly lowered accuracy. Payback offers a deterrence for fast Ghost types who would otherwise wall Tauros.
Using a Power Herb in conjunction with Ram can offer a free +1 Attack boost, which may be enough to set up a sweep, especially with Bullseye's auto-crit capabilities. Finally, a King's Rock could be used for flinch hax with Tauros' high speed and moves like Zen Headbutt and Iron Head. Intimidate provides a free attack drop, which can help Tauros switch in, take a hit, and force a switch; especially with a base 95 defense stat.
Rock Climb is a powerful main STAB, which is combined with a host of other powerful moves to take advantage of the Sheer Force/Life Orb power boost. This set is designed to have Tauros hit as hard as possible, with Pursuit to save it from Ghost types who could otherwise wall it. The power boost takes Tauros' already high attack stat to even greater levels, threatening to OHKO most things that don't resist. Using as much coverage as possible will ensure that Tauros has a semi-decent matchup against most Pokemon it would come across.
For both sets, Tauros' main counters are bulky Fighting types who can take a Bullseye or switch into a non-STAB move and hit Tauros back for massive damage. Physically defensive Pokemon that resist Normal, such as Aggron, Regirock, or Corviknight can swtich in and threaten a super-effective Body Press. Status setters can put Tauros on a clock and neuter most variants by inflicting burn. Ghost-types that are not hit by Pursuit super-effectively such as Mimikyu and Spiritomb can be brought in and out safely due to the lack of Tauros' other Ghost coverage options.
